Beyonce celebrates 10 years of her iconic album Lemonade as eagle-eyed fans spot ‘hidden clue’ about her next release

Beyoncé celebrated the 10th anniversary of her landmark album Lemonade with a special post on Instagram, marking a decade since its April 23, 2016 release. The 44-year-old shared a sunlit beach photo featuring herself with three lemons and a bottle of SirDavis, the whiskey brand she launched with Moët Hennessy. In the caption, she wrote, “Cheers to ten years! With love and deep gratitude,” accompanied by lemon and bee emojis.

In the photos, Beyoncé wore a floral crown and a breezy neutral-toned outfit, styling her hair in a side ponytail. Fans quickly flooded the comments, celebrating Lemonade as a legendary album, while many focused on the symbolism of the three lemons—speculating it could hint at Act III of her trilogy. Her 2024 album Cowboy Carter followed 2022’s Renaissance as the second chapter, with many believing the final installment may explore rock influences.

Comments about the “three lemons” fueled theories that the long-rumored third act may be on the horizon. Additional photos showed Beyoncé enjoying a peaceful beach setting, while another image revealed an elegant outdoor dinner setup, hinting at a private seaside gathering. She also shared a short clip of a beach bar staffed by a lone bartender.

Originally released as a surprise project, Lemonade—Beyoncé’s sixth studio album—became a cultural phenomenon, praised for its exploration of betrayal, healing, and forgiveness, while touching on her relationship with Jay-Z. Released alongside an HBO visual album, it featured striking imagery and sparked widespread conversation, particularly around the lyric referencing “Becky with the good hair.”

The project earned major acclaim, including Grammy wins, a Peabody Awards honor, and multiple Emmy nominations. More recently, Beyoncé moved closer to EGOT status after securing her first Emmy win for her Beyoncé Bowl special. She now holds 35 Grammy Awards.

Her Cowboy Carter Tour wrapped in July after launching in April in support of her latest album. Meanwhile, in December, Beyoncé officially joined the billionaire ranks. According to Forbes, she is among only a handful of musicians—including Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, Rihanna and Jay-Z—to reach that milestone.

Her billionaire status reflects years of reinvention. Following the huge success of the Renaissance World Tour, which grossed nearly $600 million, she shifted creatively with Cowboy Carter, her first country album. The project opened new opportunities, including a major NFL Christmas halftime performance and what became the top-grossing tour of 2025, helping push her net worth beyond the billion-dollar mark.
